Hey has anyone on the forum played the original half-life, that said Lord Stylez, would you ever consider doing a play-through series of the game for the youtubes >?
I've played and beat (I think) every Half Life ever made! I know I FO SHO beat all the HL2 released so far but HL1 is but a distant memory. You're wanting a HL1 LP? Original or Source version?
The Half life series is my favorite game series of all time because they have a perfect mix of action and thinking, by the end of the game you're really rooting for Mr. Freeman despite the fact that he is a mute.
Maybe I'll give HL1 a shot as long as it works okay on modern hardware. I don't think I actually beat that one I just remember getting lost in Black Mesa.
I've played through all of the Half Life series. I remember spending ages trying to get Half Life 1 working with my brand new Voodoo card when it was first released. For some reason the drivers just would not play well with it.
It may be worth going for the Source version to eliminate any possible compatibility issues. There is a mod that has been in development for far too long called Black Mesa that will be a complete graphical overhaul, but the team is running on a 'when it's done' schedule with no release date in sight.
