We've been having some weird web server issues lately so if you're having trouble logging into the Minecraft server this could be why. They way it bridges your forum account to your Minecraft account could cause you to be logged in as a guest if you login when the website is down.
As you've probably noticed the website is very slow today. Our host had a major hard drive failure on their SAN (storage area network) and they had to replace one or more hard drives. This causes the entire file system to need to be rebuilt which severely cuts back on the hard drive speed available to servers like our own. They expect this to take around 30 hours from now to complete. At this time we've requested to be moved from our data center in Salt Lake City to Washington, DC and expect to see around 6 hours of down time. At this time this website will be unavailable and the Minecraft server as noted above may have issues linking you to your forum account.
The move is now complete. Everything appears to be working except the SMP server list which will likely take a bit to start working due to DNS changes.

That's because the SMP server was taken offline - the map runs off the SMP server not the web server. it's back up now though.
